Find answers to common questions about becoming a SENATONGA coach

We require coaches to have a recognized coaching certification (ICF, EMCC, AC, or equivalent), at least 50 documented coaching hours, professional experience in leadership or a relevant field, and demonstrated understanding of African leadership contexts. While not mandatory, relevant academic qualifications are preferred.

Our compensation structure is based on a revenue-sharing model, with rates determined by coach level, specialization, and client type. Associate Coaches typically receive 60% of the coaching fee, Professional Coaches 70%, and Master Coaches 80%. Coaches are paid monthly for completed sessions, with SENATONGA handling all client billing and administrative aspects.

SENATONGA coaches receive continuous professional development through monthly webinars, quarterly training sessions, peer supervision groups, and access to our extensive resource library. Coaches also benefit from mentoring by more experienced coaches, specialized training in different coaching approaches, and opportunities to contribute to research and thought leadership in coaching.

We use a sophisticated matching algorithm that considers multiple factors: coach expertise and specialization, client needs and goals, industry experience, leadership level, cultural context, and coaching style preferences. Clients are typically presented with 2-3 coach profiles to choose from after completing a detailed needs assessment. Our matching process has a 95% satisfaction rate on initial coach-client fit.

Yes, our partnership model allows coaches to maintain their independent practice while working with SENATONGA clients. We do have a non-solicitation agreement regarding SENATONGA clients, but otherwise, you're free to continue serving your existing clients and developing your own practice alongside your SENATONGA work.
